“After studying psychology in Groningen and working as a teacher in secondary and higher education, I ended up in Eindhoven. Initially, I worked as a trainer, PhD candidate, and post-doc at the teacher training program of Eindhoven University of Technology, and later as an educational developer, teacher trainer, and researcher at the Faculty of Industrial Design. During this period, my interest in Design-Based Learning developed. I now apply the knowledge and experience I gained at the Faculty of Industrial Design in my research, teaching, and educational innovation projects.”
Migchiel’s expertise and experience in Design-Based Learning are crucial for his role in enhancing and evolving educational practices within the context of Design Based Education.
