Soon after the establishment of NADR, the first joint exhibition was presented during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven in October 2016. Titled “Work in Progress,” the exhibition highlighted that design research is not necessarily about achieving a polished end result, but about using design as a research tool to gain new insights. The title also reflected that the network itself was a ‘work in progress.’
